Product Assistant – 3-Month FTC
Location: London – Hybrid, 3 days in the office / 2 days remote after onboarding
Salary: £27,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract
Start date: Immediate
About the role
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Product Assistant to join our Product team on an initial three-month fixed-term contract.
You’ll provide essential day-to-day support to our Product Managers, primarily across our Portugal and Croatia portfolios, while also helping with some of our smaller destinations.
A big part of the role is making sure our villa portfolio is accurate, up to date and looking its best. You’ll work with property rates and availability, special offers, website content, spreadsheets and reports, as well as responding to queries from property owners, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
It’s a hands-on and varied role, with plenty of detailed and process-driven work. You’ll need to be comfortable managing multiple tasks and systems at once, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
We’re looking for someone who can start immediately, learn quickly and get stuck in from day one.
What you’ll be doing
Loading and updating property rates, availability and special offers across our systems.
Adding new properties and making ongoing updates to existing listings on the Oliver’s Travels website.
Regularly reviewing property information to make sure pricing, availability, content and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
Maintaining spreadsheets, trackers and reports using Excel and Salesforce.
Supporting Product Managers with day-to-day portfolio administration and follow-ups.
Liaising with property owners, suppliers and agents to gather information and resolve queries relating to listings, rates, availability and contracts.
Processing property and supplier updates and ensuring changes are accurately reflected across our systems.
Writing and updating property content, including using AI tools to support copywriting.
Managing shared destination inboxes for Portugal, Croatia and some of our smaller destinations, making sure incoming requests are responded to, actioned or directed to the right person.
Building a strong understanding of our CRM, Salesforce and internal booking systems.
Helping maintain accurate supplier and property records and documentation.
Acting as an initial point of contact for incoming calls to the Product team.
Supporting the wider Product team with ongoing projects and other day-to-day priorities when needed.
What we’re looking for
You’ll enjoy being organised, working accurately and seeing tasks through from start to finish. You’ll also bring:
Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
The ability to follow processes carefully and consistently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence managing a high volume of tasks and changing priorities.
The ability to work independently while knowing when to ask questions.
A proactive approach and willingness to get stuck into whatever the team needs.
Confidence learning and working across multiple systems.
You’ll be someone who is…
Detail-focused – You have a keen eye for detail and can maintain accuracy even when working through a high volume of tasks.
Organised – You’re comfortable managing a busy workload and keeping on top of deadlines, follow-ups and competing priorities.
Methodical – You’re happy working with processes and routine tasks and can maintain focus and consistency throughout the day.
Proactive – You take ownership of your work, spot what needs doing and see tasks through to completion.
Adaptable – You can confidently move between different tasks, properties and destinations as priorities change.
Collaborative – You enjoy being part of a team and working closely with others towards shared goals.
